Kansar Khazar Company was established in 2004 with the aim of extracting and processing iodine from mineral brines in the southeastern Caspian Sea region. After confirming the existence of iodine reserves, the first factory was built at the Incheh iodine mine and began operation in 2008. In 2018, with the launch of Incheh 2 mine, production capacity increased, and today, in addition to meeting domestic demand, the company’s iodine is exported to Europe and Asia, making Iran the fifth-largest iodine producer in the world.<\/p>

Kansar Khazar, utilizing modern management systems, has obtained international certifications such as ISO and GMP, and offers its iodine products in two forms: molten and sublimated. Iodine mineral is discovered and extracted only in certain specific areas, one of the important ones being parts of the coasts of the Pacific Ocean and the Caspian Sea. The iodine reserves identified in the Caspian Sea region extend from Golestan Province to Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.<\/p>

Kansar Khazar Company was established in 2004 with the purpose of exploring and extracting mineral brines and processing iodine along the southeastern shore of the Caspian Sea. In this regard, after the completion of exploration operations, the presence of iodine in the brines of the mining area was confirmed, and an iodine processing plant was built at the Incheh iodine mine in Golestan Province, which began operation in late 2008.<\/p>

With the increasing market demand, identification of export markets, and the good export potential of this product, the Incheh 2 iodine mine and its processing unit were inaugurated in 2018 under the name Golestan Iodine Brine Company by the honorable President of the country. The iodine produced by these companies is used in pharmaceutical, chemical, and petrochemical industries.<\/p>

Iran\u2019s iodine resources are located in the border city of Incheh Borun in Golestan Province. Golestan Province is the only region in Iran that has iodine reserves, and this element is extracted from groundwater at depths of 800 to 1000 meters using deep well drilling. Kansar Khazar and Golestan Iodine Brine companies, in addition to supplying the country\u2019s iodine needs, export their products to European and Asian countries.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
