Solar power plant

The Kansar Khazar solar power plant with a capacity of 2.5 megawatts and an investment of 600 billion rials is being built in Golestan province and will be put into operation this year. Using HJT double-sided panels for the first time in the country, this project will generate 2.8 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually, saving energy, water, and preventing the emission of pollutants. The Incheh region, with its suitable radiation, has ideal conditions for this project, and this power plant is the first megawatt solar project in the province.

solar power plant in Kansar Khazar 2.5MW; a new step for the development of clean energy in Golestan Province

In order to help address the country’s electricity imbalance and fulfill social responsibilities, a project to build a solar power plant with an initial capacity of 2MW and the ability to expand to 2.5MW has been launched next to the Khazar Ore Plant. This project, with an investment of 600 billion rials, entered the implementation phase in Farvardin 1404 and is expected to be put into operation this year.

The Incheh region has about 250 to 280 days of effective solar radiation per year; days that may not be completely sunny, but the intensity of solar radiation in them is considered suitable for the economic exploitation of solar power plants. The average intensity of solar radiation in this region is also about 4 to 4.5 kWh/m2/day. Given these conditions, Incheh is considered one of the regions susceptible to the development of renewable energies, especially solar energy, in Golestan Province. Accordingly, the solar power plant of the Kansarkhzer Company will be the first megawatt-scale solar power plant in Golestan Province to be put into operation.

One of the outstanding features of this power plant is the use of bifacial solar panels with advanced HJT (Heterojunction Technology) technology, which is being used on such a scale for the first time in the country. Using this advanced technology, in addition to the possibility of producing energy from both sides of the panels, will increase efficiency and increase the effective hours of energy production throughout the day.

The Kansar Khazar Solar Power Plant symbolizes the synergy between modern technologies, responsible investment, and intelligent utilization of the region’s natural capacities to achieve sustainable and green development. It has been built to help address the country’s electricity imbalance and fulfill social responsibilities.
