Kord koy Power Planet

The 19.2 MW Kordkuy CHP Power Plant Project is currently under construction in the Kordkuy Industrial Town, Golestan Province, with an investment of approximately 1,500 billion tomans on a 12,700 m² site. Construction of the project began in 2025 and it is scheduled to become operational in 2026. The power plant will be equipped with 16 gas-fired generator units, each with a capacity of 1.2 MW, producing more than 124,416 MWh of electricity annually. This project will significantly contribute to the stability of the regional power distribution network and help reduce power outages for industrial units in the area. One of the distinguishing features of this facility is its heat recovery system, which enables the plant to recover and reuse more than 125,000 MWh of waste thermal energy annually from the generators. This process returns the recovered energy to the production cycle and increases the overall system efficiency to over 55%. Upon commissioning, the project will create approximately 30 permanent jobs, contributing to local economic development.
