Injection site

The Golestan Shorabeh Yad Factory wastewater injection site began operating in 2019 with the aim of non-surface wastewater disposal and initially consisted of 2 wells on an area of 300 hectares. Now, with the efforts of experts, the number of wells has reached 11, each of which injects an average of 12 liters per second, and a total of about 130 liters of wastewater per second is injected to a depth of 800 to 1000 meters and according to environmental requirements. Iran is the third country to benefit from this technology after the United States and Japan. This 24-hour process is carried out with advanced equipment such as high-pressure pumps, piping systems, and precision instruments. The site's infrastructure includes 17 kilometers of high-voltage electricity, 7 kilometers of road construction, 10 kilometers of 16-inch sewage transfer canals and pipes, landscaping, 6 kilometers of 8-inch lines to supply wells with feed, and a diesel generator for emergency power.
