Iodine introduction

The word “Iodine” which was discovered by the French chemist Bernard Courtois in 1811, is derived from the Greek word “Iodes” meaning violet or purple. It is a chemical element with symbol I and the atomic number 53. Iodine is first isolated from dried algae. This element is also derived from deep-sea salmon. The iodine production of the KKC is classified according to its apparent characteristics and production method according to the requirements of USP as follows:

About Kansar Khazar

The Kansar Khazar company was established in 2004 with the aim of exploration and extraction of iodine in the eastern margin of the Caspian Sea. In this regard, after the end of exploration operation, iodine has been proven in the mine-cleared dairies, and the Inche Yard processing plant was constructed in Golestan province in 2008. In 2018, the Inche mine and its processing unit were opened by the President of the Republic. Our product is used in pharmaceutical, chemical and petrochemical units.

Evaluation of the best advanced industrial unit of country in 2019

Experts from the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare visited the Khazar Khazar Company on March 16, 2019. This evaluation was carried out in order to determine the country's most advanced industrial unit in 2019.

The Kansar Khazar company, with respect of its social responsibility (CSR) about the environment, coincided with the planting date of 06/03/2019, with cooperation of the Natural Resources Directorate of Golestan province, to plant 800 seedlings and Shrubs at a level of 5 hectares on the margin of the factory.
